Myth: Essential Oils are always safe to be used as they are natural
Truth: Undoubtedly, Essential Oils are natural and come from natural extracts, but it does not make them completely safe to use. Precautions like expert advice or dilution are highly recommended.
Myth: Essential Oils which are pure and completely free from additives do not freeze because of the absence of water
Truth: Essential Oils freeze like other liquids when stored at low temperatures, water does not have a connection with this.
Myth: When you get redness or rashes after applying Essential Oil, it means your skin is detoxing
Truth: Never. This is one of the most dangerous myths. Getting redness or rashes after applying the Essential oil is a clear indication of a negative response from the skin towards the application. In this case, it is recommended to stop using the essential oil or dilute it more than before.
Myth: When written on the packaging of essential oil, “For external use only” or “Not for internal use”, it means that the oil is not pure or low in quality
Truth: Such comments are not at all related to the quality of the product.
